don't worry she'll be fine. Thai people are the most friendly i've every seen. i stayed there 6yrs trust me it's one of the best place to visit.

Absolutely safe, and especially if she’s staying here with a local family. Bangkok and Thailand is much safer for a couple of teenage girls to be traveling around than almost anywhere in America. We don’t have things like road rage, drive-by shootings, carjackings, kidnappings , rapes, etc. anywhere near what it’s like in America. I’m an American who lives in Bangkok with a young daughter, and from a safety standpoint, I think it’s much safer to raise my daughter here in Thailand than it is in America, and it’s perfectly safe for a couple of teenage girls to be out alone during the day or night, unlike many cities in America. Your daughter will have a great experience coming here to visit, Thailand is a very safe place and there’s no need to worry.

She will be fine in bangkok as long as they arent travelling around late at night where there is no people or crowds. Its not as much crime as New York or places like that and most thais are goodhearted but Im a grown man and 5 men tryed to kidnap me in an area of Phuket...but I was alone on an empty street walking around at 1am. And that area is about 12 hours south of Bangkok. Bangkok is pretty safe as long as they stay together and thais are the type of people who would intervene if they saw something wrong happening to a tourist. Bangkok during the daytime is as safe as disneyland.

yea you should a teenage american girl going to a foreign country is worth alot of money im just kidding, but i would i read too much on the news you should make sure someone is picking them up and taking them places with parents just because it is a foreign country
