Ignore all those lurkers in and about the entrance. Go outside, turn right and about fifty yards down you will see an official taxi booth. You may have to wait your turn but they will quote you a set fee before you set out. If you don't feel like waiting too long you can move back to the squabble outside the door and bargain a lower fee than the official taxi has quoted you. I reckon about 700 Baht is not bad.
