i recommend pattaya and phuket cause been there before but i know that there are so many great islands in thailand that you can go too.
in pattaya go to Garden sea view resort a cozy place and if you like somewhere better go to Royal Cliff (it’s more expansive but really great one with many facilities).

i have been to Phuket before (Patong Beach) and it is amazing with heaps to do, i am heading back there and to koh samui in two weeks and can not wait!
depending on how much money you want to spend there are many different nice places to stay.

In koh Samui i have decided to stay at the Nora Beach resort and the Muang Samui Spa Resort, these hotels cost approx $100 Australian dollars per person per night, but you can find some much cheaper hotels it all depends what you want to spend. In phuket i am staying at Gracelands which is a bit cheaper then the other two.
