The Sanctuary of Truth The Sanctuary of Truth is located at Ratchawet Cape, Tambon Naklua of Pattaya City in the area of 24 acres, It was first built in 1981 by Mr. Lek Wiriyaphan, the owner of Muang Boran (the Acient City) in Samut Prakan province. The Sanctuary of Truth is wholly made of wood. It is considered one of the distinguished architectures in Thailand. This wooden castle is built in a Chaturamuk style. The top of the stupa (prang) is 105 meter high. The four sides of the face roof are built in Ayutthaya style decorated with Chofa, Bai Raka and Thepphachao (gods). There are also wonderings presenting the story of Ramayana and Mahapharata. The Sanctuary of Truth or the highly carved wooden castle will stand in Pattaya as a memorial to reflect the religious belief, especially in Buddhism, of mankind. Open daily from 08.00 p.m.

Pattaya, Thailand – Sanctuary of Truth

So as i wandered Thailand i came across this place. the Sanctuary of Truth…

Here i was able to ride a horse, take a trip on a boat, kiss a dolphin, eat some good food, watch some traditional Thai dancing/music show (this is the music they were playing actually in the background of the vid, i have a clip or two of them in there as well)

i also got to explore a beautiful temple made of wood (imagine that whole thing is hand carved wood)! the only thing i missed was the elephant ride! i guess i’ll just have to go back (and soon!)

Thailand is a beautiful country. i regret i had to leave after a week! this place especially made me think about my course in life. to find my truths. i have found some and will continue on my journey of life.

ya i know, i’m being all thinky and stuff. ok. i’ll stop now! more from Thailand coming up. also i’ll finish my bridges of nyc series and i have a couple of ukulele stuff, hula stuff and a vid for JOGO Jenny in the works! please stay tuned!

Rayong Beach Fun – Gulf of Thailand

Rayong is located southeast of Bangkok, along the beautiful coastline of the Gulf of Thailand. The beach is gentle and as smooth as Thai silk making it a great family beach. Cafes line the beach with great fresh local food. Ong Moon is a baby elephant who goes for morning walks on the beach with her humans. Feed her for good luck. Elephants are endangered species now. Ong Moon is lucky to have humans to protect her. Please help the elephants when you can. Enjoy the film!
