Can anyone recommend any activities to do in Krabi?

I’m visiting Krabi, Thailand for 3 days in one week’s time but have no idea what I can do there besides hanging out at the beach. LOL Can anyone recommend any activities? Preferably affordable ones since I’m kinda on a budget trip.

How’s Thailand (Bangkok & Krabi) in September??

I’ve read a few of the other questions and saw that many people recommend from November to April. Overall how is September? Unfortunatelly we’re going to Asia from the beginning of September for 2-3 weeks. Right now I have my itinerary set up to go to Krabi for 2 nights at the end of the month, and then head out to Bangkok for 3 nights thereafter. Should I just avoid Krabi and the beaches?

I don’t expect perfect weather, I’ll suck up the humidity and the heat (32 celcius, 90+ fahrenheit) weather, it’s whatever… I don’t mind cloudy skies or slow season… but a RAINY day can pretty much ruin any day and it’s activities… any feedback is appreciated.

My girlfriend and I are heading to Thailand for the Christmas holiday and are considering both Krabi and Khao Lak. Can anyone recommend one over the other? Also, if you’ve experienced the Baan Khaola resort in Khao Lak and have any insight to offer, even better. Tks!

I want to go to Thailand in April. I have been to Koh Samui before, and although I love it, I’d like to try the West Coast where I haven’t been (Krabi / Koh Lanta / Phi Phi).

At that time of year, which place would be more beautiful? I am looking for perfect weather and beautiful beaches.

anybody hired a boat for the day in krabi or koh samui?

i fancy going down too the phi phi islands whilst in krabi, thailand. but i cant be bothered with waiting times etc id prefer to just hire a little boat for the day with the driver and sail to where, and when i want. anyone know if thats possible. anybody experienced it.?
