Does anyone have any tips for living on a deserted island in thailand?

I recently made a spur of the moment trip to maui and survivorman being my favorite show, i decided the fifteen days i would be here i would spend no money and only survive off the land. well two weeks, twenty pounds, and forty miles later i landed in lahaina where i found a sweet job and tons of new friends. the problem is i have never felt more alive as in those two weeks of sleeping on the beach and walking in no direction for no reason in particular except pure adventure. Soon i think i will leave my job and fly to thailand, pay a fisherman to take me to a deserted island and live off the land there for two months, bringing only enough canned food to keep me alive in the worst case scenarios. Does anyone have any tips for me? I have already thought of registering with the american embassy and bringing a sattelite phone, just in case my ride doesnt show up on day 60. ps anyone want to come?

Flying from bangkok to krabi – not sure whether to stay in krabi or head straight to koh phi phi??
Also not sure where to set up base camp, should i stay in Krabi then go to the two other islands for day trips??
How do i get to Railay beach from either krabi or ko phi phi and how long should i stay??

I’m planning a trip to island on the East coast of Thailand. I’m having a difficult time trying to figure out how to get fromKoh phangan to Koh Samui. I don’t want to book some deal with a travel agent or anything. does anyone know if it’s possible to catch a boat from one to the other once you get there? any advice on how to do it from people who have had experience?? thanks sooooo sooo much. I can’t wait to hear what any of you have to say! thanks again!
