    Tourism is BIG …
Tourism is BIG business in Thailand there are plenty of other ways to make $ other than to exploit animals. Look this family obviously has a lot of land and $ to construct cages etc.
    THERE ARE OTHER WAYS!!

    goldaurly,I do …
goldaurly,I do think we should be boycotting Zoos and Circus. yes I was probably was taken to the zoo as a child in the U.S but it doesn’t make it right.
The Monkeys have no food or water in those cages.Thailand is an incredibly hot & humid country, how on earth do you know that some haven’t died in their Barron cages??

    Look if 15 monkeys …
Look if 15 monkeys can help a family of 20 people to eat and have a roof then let it be come on – Have you ever been to the zoo when you where a child?no? every child has been amazed in a zoo so shall we boycott every zoo on the planet? Ok they are in a cage but come on its their business so they have to take care of the monkeys and make sure they look Ok to do their shows so its not like they let them die in a cage – Have you ever been to a circus? Sure you did – Shall we boycott all Circus?

    What an …
What an embarrassment to Thailand!! travelers and holidaymakers don’t want to see this!!!!!
The reality is that most people will go & see this place without realising the isolated/Barron conditions the animals are kept in and most of all the ROUGH & AGRESSIVE way the “monkey teachers” treat these poor animals.
Forward thinking, intelligent people will enjoy the best Thailand has to offer & BOYCOTT! visiting the monkey prison.

    No I am not …
No I am not entertained… I am only sickened. How can we allow these amazing creatures who supposedly are nearest to us in DNA, to be abused and exploited in this way; for them to spend a lifetime tortured and in torment in the name of entertainment? Thailand is a beautiful country, with enchanting people so why do they carry out such brutal acts on these defenceless creatures? because we, the Visitor, encourage it – it must stop today.
“Thailand the land of smiles” – no thanks!

    Animals including …
Animals including monkeys are not a commodity to be used for our amusement. Anyone who finds this amusing should question their moral values, and “Until he extends his circle of compassion to include all living things, man will not himself find peace.” ~Albert Schweitzer …

    I bet seeing how …
I bet seeing how they live isn’t part of the sordid show that punters go to watch? Thailand should be embarrassed to have this vile place! They should be shamed into shutting this dump & putting those poor monkeys into rehab/set free/sanctuary.
Maybe a tourist boycott to push the Thai Govt to do the right thing?
Perhaps forward film to travel companies?
Heartbreaking, disgusting to degrade & exploit animals. Shouldn’t be tolerated in ‘civilized’ society. Hit them hard – Hit them in the pocket

    A sad indictment on …
A sad indictment on mankind’s treatment of it’s cousins.
The author deserves credit for bringing this difficult subject to light.
How often it is that we just turn our gaze away from these horrors.
    Again, well done Mr/Ms Author
