I am in Pattaya Thailand &the sun has a very big coloured ring around it any ideas what this can be?

The time i asked this question was at 12.45 thai time this coloured ring has been there all the morning.

    just guessing. IT probably rained that morning and what you are seeing is the sunlight refracting with the moisture in the air. Much like a rainbow but you’ll see the whole circle since the sun is (almost) directly overhead.

    If the ring is brown, you looking at Uranus. Please go by the Victory Bar on Soi 8 and say Chuck says hi to Noy.

    I just nearly blinded myself looking for it but I couldn’t see any ring now (2pm Thai time). I can still see the sun though.

    Ah negeshia I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. I was going to suggest you need to clean your spectacles? I think it means big rain coming.
