How long is a piece of string? You can find a hotel (guest house) room for B250 (GBP5.00-ish) for a night and you can probably find a room for B25,000 (GBP500.00-ish).
You could eat noodle soup from a street vendor for B30 or you could go to a top western restaurant and eat steak for B3,000.
Three grand for six weeks for two people equates to GBP250.00 per person per week so that’s about GBP35.00 per day – a few quiet days, a couple of minor blow-outs, average to decent accommodation – you should be more than fine.
Backpackers do it on far less!

yeah 3000 for 6 to 7 weeks is plenty just avoid the top end hotels and you will be able to fulfill your dreams although the exchange rate is not that good at moment so only change enough for a week or so and watch to see if the exchange picks up
