    hmmm…..

    Honeymoon in Bangkok…..Alot of fun.
DON’T stay on Khao San Road……If you’re on your honeymoon, it’ll be bad. If you’re not on your honeymoon it’ll be bad. There are plenty of great guest houses nearby, that are even cheaper and better quality.

    This was my favorite one:
    Taewez Guest House
    Samsen Road,
Banglampoo (Khao San Road) Bangkok 10200

    Tel: (66) 0-2280-8856-7

    Fax: (66) 0-2280-8858
It’s just off Khao San Road, close enough to walk, but without the grunginess. The rooms are clean, and the staff is great. It’s cheap, but when you’re in Bangkok, how much time do you want to spend in a hotel room?
If you want to stay in a higher class place, I would say any time you spend more than 25 bucks a night, you’ll be all right. There are a lot of mojor hotel chains there.
Siam Square is also a good area to check out, especially if you’re into downtown-feelings. It’s got a huge mall and stuff all around it. It’s in the center of the city.
When you’re in Bangkok, be sure to check out Jatuchak (sp) open market on the weekends, and for a wonderful Honeymoon fine dining meal, check out the art restaurant “Eat Me”. Sounds funny, but the price is reasonable for fine dining and the food is FANTASTIC!.
I know this answer is long, but there is so much to say.
If you’re on your honeymoon, I also recommend (if you’re spending some time on the islands) Lonely beach on Ko Chang is great. (Not too lonely anymore, but still very nice and a little more out of the way)
Ko Tao is nice too, Ko Samui is nice too, but more accessible, and more built up.
All in all, if your on your honeymoon, and wanna spend some money, You can find a nice place almost anywhere. But some advice, if you’re not into a ton of amenities, and just wanna bed to sleep in and a hot shower, there are thousands of places that are good quality for the price. Just don’t sleep on Khao San road.

I recommend Centara Grand Hotels, a new hotel & 5 star hotel located at the center of Bangkok City. there are many mega shopping mall around here and near travelling spots in bangkok. Moreover, at the roof top 55th floor of this hotel, there’s a romantic, outdoor restaurant (an unforgettable outdoor roof top venue with impressive views across the city skyline).

The Sofitel on silom rd is one of the nicest hotels in BKK. If you look for on line discounts it can be less then any of the major 5 star hotels. I always put my mother and father up in this hotel when they visit me in Thailand.

I recommend Chiang Mai its much more sexy than Bangkok for a honeymoon. There are many nice quite resorts Tamarind Village is $120 per night and is wonderful but there are many more from $25 or less to $600. The plane from Bangkok to Chiang Mai is about an hour.

If you like the Beach Try Hua Hin.

Bangkok is too crowded and polluted (But I love it so).
