any summer holiday destinations?!?

I live in a hot country but in the summer i wanna have a break, i wanna go sum where with great beaches, things to see, lots of green will be nice.. n also not a place that a bottle of water cost $1000
I thinking maybe a place that i can get like a flat or villa or sumthing on the beach or very close (2 minute WALK)
I went to thailand 2 yrs ago n got a lovely place on the beach, outdoor pool, n all facilities.. it was amazing.. but i want sumthing different this time!
any idea?
europe or asia?
which country? (dont just gimme the country tell me which city to go to!!)

Can anyone tell me how much money i need for a 2 week trip to Thailand (Bangkok/Pattaya)?

After a lot of research I still can’t accurately figure out how much i need for my 2 week holiday in Bangkok/Pattaya.
How much would i need for each day if i spend on the following;

- Lunch + Dinner + 5 to 8 beers.
- average room cost per night.
- average bar fine for go go girl
- fee for go go girl (long/overnight stay – including tip).
- Transportation cost – rental bike/rickshaw etc.
- anything else you can suggest.

I would appreciate if you took this question seriously and didn’t call me a pervert. I m a young man going on holiday and want to have some fun!!!!

Best holiday destination for young adult family?

Hey everyone,

We are a family of four.

Adults in late 40’s, and two kids (by the time we go I will be aged 18 and my other sibling 24)

The kids are very adventurous and fit, whilst the adults probably just want a break from work lol! We are thinking late 2009 – early 2010.

What do you think is the best AFFORDABLE place in the world to go?

We have already been to Europe (Paris, London etc) & Asia (Thailand, Malaysia etc) and need somewhere affordable, yet relaxing and sightseeing (something that will blow us away for the first time)

We live in Australia so please think about travel distance and money aspect too. Also safety would be good as well.

Also, we’ve been to the South Pacific (Fiji, Vanuatu, New Zealand) so maybe not that either.

confusion about thai visas. transit or holiday?

ive just bought and paid for my first rtw trip….

after searching through which visas i have to get, i found the thai one abit confusing.

many websites say that i can just get a 30 day visa stamp (free) and all i have to do is catch the flight, fill in forms on plane and bring a couple of passport photos of myself………

another website says that you have to have proof of travel out of thailand eg, flight booked out so they definatley know your gonna leave.

my problem is that im planning on traveling thru thailand and flying out of singapore. Obviously this is possible as many people do it, but i dont want to get on a plane to bangkok and be refused entry as i havent got a flight leaving the country and the wrong kind of visa

if anyone could help id be very.v.v gratefull

My boyfriend (of 3 yrs) is going to Thailand for 3 months with his mate. Can i trust him to stay faithful?

We’ve been together for 3 years (living together for 2) and at the moment the relationship is a bit rocky. I asked if I could go with him and he just keeps saying he didnt want me to get into debt paying for a 3 month holiday (and that we’d irritate each other for 3 months) and he’s already going with his mate. He’s booked loads of internal flights and is claiming he’s going for the sights and what not. He says “i’m not going to do anything, I don’t wanna sleep with a diseased prostitiutes” and when i found messages in his phone from his mate saying “you can get a thai bird to do what you want for a whole week for £30…can’t wait to get over there” he said he was joking (which i think is bullshit)
I’m being torn apart, i love him so much and i dont wanna leave him but i really don’t feel i can trust him. even if i make him take an STD test it doesn’t prove he’s not done anything. His mate wouldn’t tell me the truth if I asked so what am i meant to do?

My parents have gone on a 10 days holiday
And they left me at home….Im very disturbed and upset
I was in a bus accident today and i dont no how to contact them
I called her mobile but its of so is dads they have turned them of so
work cant contact them…i no wich hotel there staying at but i dont no how to call them…can someone PLEASSSEEE help me!!???
I was on my way to school and the bus driver had a heart attack and and ran into the tree. I have 2 broken ribs and 1 fractured collerbone
Haha No i had the choice to stay with my grandparents but i didnt want to im fine now but i waas in the hosspital all day mostly with my friend who has a fractured sholder a broken leg and broken nose from hitting her head into my back

will need a tetanus shot?

i cut myself on a rusty nail this morning, it wasn’t a scratch more of a poke, i washed it with water to stop the bleeding, then dried with a tissue and put betadine on the wond. btw im in thailand on holiday, i live in england.

Hello Yahoo! Answering folk.

After many years of partying I have decided to be kind to my body for two whole weeks before returning to a high pressure job, with not but rich food and booze for substanance.

Question is where to go with out spending a small fortune, Thailand or somewhere a bit closer to home, as its a long away to haul myself just to starve myself and get beaten up by thai massages ladies. Not to mention all that carbon in the stratosphere.

I have been looking at Thailand by the cost and found a few places which are pretty cheap USD700-800 for 10 days of the full works. Plus whatever the flight will betweeb £350-800 depending on whether you don’t mind pedling or sitting with the animals or you require plastic food or not. http://www.samuidetox.com

Anyone got experience of such services in Spain/Algarve/France? The only places I could find on the information super highway did not look as good AND they were stupidly expensive £2k in some cases. Thanks!

It would be nice if we too celebrated Lunar New Year, Muslim Hari yara Pusa and Tamil festivals in addition to hispanic festivals like the mexican day of the dead.

I think the constant partying will uplift our economy. Look at Thailand, Malaysia etc. It seems as if every month there is a holiday and the tourists flock there!
People love multicultural places!

If the P.I just stays as boooring old P.I nobody would come here. The RP used to be a multicultural place. Now it feels too synthetic. We need more diversity people! We need to diversify!!!!!
